NSC Std. 7 / 49 CFR 391.23 Criminal record & background check authorization I authorize a criminal record check and, where required for border or bonded freight, a security screening. Carrier due diligence / CBSA bonded freight Electronic signature & electronic records consent I agree that my typed name and drawn signature are legally binding and that my driver file may be kept electronically. PIPEDA / provincial e-commerce acts ELD / telematics monitoring acknowledgement I understand the vehicle records hours of service, location, speed and event data through an electronic logging device and that this data is used for compliance and coaching. SOR/2019-165 — ELD mandate Company policies & SOPs Driver handbook / company policy manual I have received, read and understand the company driver handbook and agree to follow it as a condition of employment. NSC Std. 7 — written policies in the driver file Hours of service & logbook policy I understand daily and cycle driving limits, mandatory off-duty time, and that falsifying a log or ELD record is grounds for termination.
